Child abuse filtering
The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) was formed in 1996 to tackle the problem of distribution of child abuse images over the internet. The IWF maintains a database of the location of child abuse images on the internet. By blocking access to these images service providers can prevent their network being used for illegal activities and protect their customers from inadvertently viewing these appalling images.
Our clean internet pipes solution provides a simple and highly effective way of blocking these images on the internet. The combination of our "black box" approach and StreamShield.Net automated update service means that service provider employees are not exposed to the IWF database and potentially compromized.
Subscribers attempting to access child abuse images can be presented with a standard "404" error or a customizable web page alerting them of the risk.
